The Gathering Christian fellowship in West Orange, NJ is a ministry to those who are seaching for God. Many know of church but don't really know Christ.
We would like you to know that we are ordinary people that hurt or have been hurt by people, the church, bad teaching, judgments, poor thought, and much more. It is our goal at The Gathering to begin to break through all that stuff-- the hurts, pain, feelings, loneliness, and seek for truth. There is absolute truth contrary to popular belief and that truth is found in a man who was also God, namely Jesus Christ.
We don’t know where you are at in your search for truth, life or happiness. Maybe you think everything is relative, maybe you don’t care, maybe you feel Christians are all fools and blindly believe something that is ridiculous. It might be that you’re just hurt and need some guidance. Look to a man who is God, and the only one who can solve our problem sin, Jesus Christ.

Dear Jesus… Thank you for loving me even when I don’t deserve You at all. Lord, come into my life, change me, break me, make me new, make me whole… forgive me. Purify my heart. Jesus I believe You died on the cross and rose again three days later. You are my savior and one day I will live with You forever. But meanwhile, help me to stand for you. To shine for You, to make a difference and let Your truth be known. Use me Lord, Holy Spirit fill me overflowing, I love you so much! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
